Solar Turbines, Taurus T60 50hz

The Solar Taurus T60 Gas Turbine Set is a packaged power generation system designed for reliability and efficiency.

These Solar® Taurus 60 packages were delivered in 2012 but the project was never completed. The units have been professionally stored and recently re-crated, they were never installed. One unit is a T7901S / GSC package (5.67 MWe) built from new by the OEM, the other package is a T7801S / GSC package (5.5 MWe) refurbished by the OEM as part of the same project and built identical to the new unit. The gas turbine engine is a proven, robust design equipped for natural gas operation, with a SoLoNOx combustion system giving low emissions performance.
